The Madasus Update

Greetings, everyone. This is Dr. Madasu. We are the Madasu's missionaries to Saipan. Thank you so much for praying for us. We are doing well by the grace of God. We thank the Lord for his wonderful provision, for his care in our lives, and also for protection.

Thank you for those of you who are praying for us, and thank you for providing us the means, the needs, as well to be part of this glorious and wonderful ministry of the Lord.

We want to inform you some things that have happened over past month or so.

On September the 3rd, we have started a new church in Saipan, Logos Bible Church. It was wonderful, and it is still wonderful, and we are reaching out to communities to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We have also did some outreach ministry as well, and we are planning to do more, but what happened is...

We received a zoning permit issue from the government here. What is a zoning issue? Zoning basically means that we have to get permission from the local government to start a church. I did not know that. So that is not also a small issue. That is somewhat a medium range to large issue, I would say. But we thank God he is with us and things are moving on.

So for over, I believe, four weeks, we are meeting online on Sundays and also Wednesdays. Again, we have started a new church, Logos Bible Church, by the grace of God. It's not my church, it's God's church. And so, I'm just a servant of the Lord, and I'm thankful to God for using me. And so, what happened was, there was a parking lot issue.

So where we were meeting is just a small apartment, and there we had a parking issue. Maybe someone reported that there are cars coming in. So we had services for over three weeks. In that place. And then a report went out to the zoning department and they gave us a ticket. And the fine, obviously, I don't know what's the fine is going to be, but we turn in all the paperwork and the department is working.

So I ask you to please pray about the zoning issue. We did not know that we have to get the permission first from the government and start the church. It takes a lot of work. We have to give them all kinds of details. The floor planning. We have to have an architect come and design everything and create all kinds of images with the help of architect and provide all kinds of pictures and information for them.

Every single detail. They are so detailed in what they want. So, but thank the Lord we have provided all that for them. And we've given all the paperwork. We're just waiting for them to respond. So it's going to take so long. I don't know how many days it's going to take. They told me 21 days upon the turning of the application.

So God is working out with the people that are known within this whole zoning circle. And so there's church members who are also involved in this, who knows some people, so they take sort of a connection. So I did not know about the zoning concerns. It is my responsibility. I did not study what's required, but we're so excited about church planning.

So we were, we were just. We did not focus on that, but by God's grace, it's taken care of now. We're in the process, we're just waiting to hear from the zoning chief and what he's going to say. It all depends on what he's going to say, but obviously the church is not going to stop. We'll find a way to meet.

No one can stop God's mission, God's church. So, I ask you to please continue to pray for this issue, and also share with others as well, so that they may also pray. The more we have prayer warriors, the better it is. So please continue to pray and thank you for churches who are supporting us financially.

We appreciate your help. We also need to raise a lot of funds. So please pray for that and also through Gospel Heritage Ministries we are, our desire is to help for three church buildings in India and we plan to raise some funds for church building. need in India. So also please pray for the three church buildings and obviously wherever there's a church, there's going to be a water well.

So please pray for God's provision and please pray for our ministry support and also our personal support. We haven't had a chance to go out to churches and to raise support, but God is so gracious, so gracious and so giving and so loving. We praise God for those who are helping us financially. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

For helping us, of providing us the help. And we pray that you continue to pray that God would use us to reach this entire island with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you again for your time.
