Training the Nationals

Equipping Indigenous Missionaries to Reach India for Christ

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world

— Matthew 28:19–20 (KJV)

A Burden for the Gospel in India

I am, with a heavy burden in my heart, requesting brothers and sisters in Christ to pray for the continuation of the training of the soul winners, church planters, preachers, and pastors at our Bible College.

We have our own property with buildings with a dormitory for men and classrooms, and available qualified professors for the continuation of the Bible College, if the Lord God will enable His people, churches, or organizations to sponsor it for the glory of God and for the expansion of His Kingdom in my country, India.

And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also

— 2 Timothy 2:2 (KJV)

Why Train National Missionaries?

India is home to over 1.4 billion people — and hundreds of millions have never heard the name of Jesus Christ. The most effective way to reach these unreached communities is not through foreign missionaries alone, but through trained national believers who understand the language, culture, and heart of their own people.

National missionaries can go where foreign workers cannot. They face no visa restrictions, no language barriers, and no cultural adjustment period. They are already part of the communities they serve — and with proper biblical training, they become powerful instruments in God's hands.

At Redeemer Baptist Bible College, we have seen this truth demonstrated for nearly three decades. Men arrive as new believers with a fire for the Gospel, and they leave as trained pastors, church planters, and soul winners — equipped to establish self-sustaining churches across India.

Your support directly multiplies the harvest. Every trained missionary goes on to reach hundreds — and train others who reach hundreds more. This is the biblical model of multiplication that our Lord Jesus Christ commanded.

God's Faithfulness Through the Years

Our Journey of Faith

Key milestones in the life of Redeemer Baptist Bible College

1995
The Bible College Is Founded
With a vision to train indigenous pastors and church planters, Redeemer Baptist Bible College opens its doors in Tiruvuru, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh — answering the urgent need for trained national workers.
Early 2000s
First Graduates Sent to the Field
The first generation of trained missionaries is sent out across India — planting churches, preaching the Word, and winning souls in villages and towns that had never heard the Gospel.
2005–2015
Expanding Reach Across India
Students arrive from North East India — near the borders of Tibet, Burma, and Nepal — to receive training. After graduation, they return to minister in their home regions, multiplying the impact exponentially.
2015–Present
300+ Missionaries Trained
Over 300 national missionaries have graduated and are actively serving — winning souls, planting churches, and making disciples across India and the surrounding nations.
Today
The Need Continues to Grow
With its own property, dormitory, classrooms, and qualified professors ready, the Bible College stands prepared to train the next generation — but needs the faithful support of God's people to continue.

Inside the Bible College

Glimpses of daily life at Redeemer Baptist Bible College — where men are being equipped for the work of the ministry.

The Great Commission

The final commandments of our Lord Jesus Christ that drive everything we do.

📖 Go Into All the World

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

— Mark 16:15 (KJV)

🌱 Make Disciples of All Nations

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."

— Matthew 28:19–20 (KJV)

🤝 Equip the Saints

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ."

— Ephesians 4:11–12 (KJV)

"Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro… But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ."

— Ephesians 4:13–15 (KJV)

An Urgent Call for Labourers

We need more trained men of God to carry on the final commandments of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ:

  • To go into all creation and preach the Gospel (Mark 16:15)
  • To make disciples in all nations
  • To baptize them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit
  • To teach them to observe "all things whatsoever I have Commanded" you (Matthew 28:19–20)

In order to fulfil these final commandments of our Lord Jesus Christ, in India, we need to train the men of God more — to send them out to preach the Gospel, to win souls, to plant churches and to grow the believers in the Word of God, "for the perfecting of the Saints, for the work of the Ministry, and for the edifying of the Body of Christ" (Ephesians 4:11–15).

Several of our Bible College students from North East India, close to the border of Tibet, Burma, and Nepal, had trained at our Bible College previously, and are ministering in their areas at present — winning souls, planting churches, preaching and teaching the Word of God.
